The Human Resources Department supports the Pueblo of Zia Tribal programs by recruiting, developing, and supporting a qualified and dedicated workforce. We are committed to providing professional, consistent, and equitable human resources services that strengthen Tribal programs and enhance service to the Pueblo of Zia community.

SERVICES
Human Resources provides a range of services to support Tribal departments and employees, including recruitment and hiring, employee relations, benefits administration, training coordination, performance management, and policy guidance. We work closely with leadership to promote fairness, consistency, and accountability across all departments.

Human Resources supports the Pueblo of Zia by recruiting, hiring, and developing employees who are qualified, dependable, and aligned with the Pueblo’s values and service expectations. Our recruitment process is guided by fairness, consistency, and respect for Pueblo sovereignty, while prioritizing Indian Preference in accordance with Tribal policy.
As Tribal programs grow and community needs evolve, Human Resources partners closely with program leadership to develop new positions, strengthen workforce capacity, and support long-term organizational goals.
