Mission

It is the Human Resources department’s mission to support the Pueblo of Zia Tribal programs with qualified staff for every department.  It is also the mission to provide excellent services to the community.


Vision

To hire and retain team-oriented employees and provide excellent benefits to them.  Retention of great employees is a matter of leadership style and it is the vision of Human Resources to provide great leadership to our employees.


Goal

As a small community, it is the goal of Human Resources to make continuous efforts in having high standards for employees.  Not only does the Pueblo of Zia provide quality employees to their programs but it expects nothing but the best for the community members.

  • Human Resources offers many services to their tribal programs. Among other things, they provide employee relations, benefits, training, recruitment, and performance management.

  • As our tribal programs continue to expand, new jobs are being developed. Program leaders work effortlessly to create new job opportunities, thus giving the Pueblo of Zia community members more services.


EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT


  • The Pueblo of Zia offers annual employee training, new hire orientation, and various department trainings.  

  • The Pueblo of Zia continuously develops new ideas for employees to learn and achieve new knowledge about their job at the Pueblo.

  • Employee input is important to the Pueblo of Zia.  It creates a team-oriented working culture and gives employees a sense of being heard.
